Hah - Hee, Hah - Who, Hah - Wha?

We had our first childbirth class last night, and looking good so far. We really liked the instructor and she has a great sense of humor (her words of wisdom: Kegels are great for sex, too! ;o). We even practiced a few breathing techniques, hence the post title, while holding ice cubes in our hands and trying to ignore the 'pain.'

We both felt a little better about the process after the class...then we had our check-up this morning and turns out we're measuring about 2 weeks ahead! Dr. Penny (yes, that really is his name) said "hey, you guys could have a baby in the next month!". Hah-hee, Hah-hee, Hah-whooooooo........

In the next month eh? Betcha that got the attention of everyone in the room!! :) This auntie-type will be happy either way, but maybe it's a good thing you guys started work on the nursery early! :)

July is a great month for a birthday don't you agree Mandy....Keep having Tim strech the skin between the two openings 5 min. at a time you will be glad in the end...you don't want a 4th degree tear trust me....and the ice thing is great but no wear near what it truly feels like...I pray that you will have a normal length so your body can adjust to each phase so you can get the medication...belive me next time I'm walking through the hospital doors and saying hook me up now...Love you tons Shannon

Yes, it certainly grabbed our attention! Glad to hear that Auntie Anne is ready to "catch" this kid if she shoots out early. ;)

Good to hear from Auntie Shannon, too! Glad you found our blog, and thanks for the great advice. :) Hope that our little niece is behaving and making up for all that "fun" in labor.
