I'm apologizing up front if this post is incoherent...you'll have to translate. We just got home around 5:30 PM this evening, but we made it, all in tact with a brand new precious little girl named Anna Olivia Meyer. Most of you have probably already seen the stats, but just to make it official...born on August 12th at 9:57 PM, 8 lbs, 10 oz (head was 13 1/4 inches around), and our not so little bundle is 21 inches long. The last official stat...25 hours of labor and a prolonged hospital stay, which I'll post more about later. The short story is that she is healthy and beautiful and absolutely perfect.
Haven't really had time to dig through the pictures yet, but here are a few. We will be sleeping when we can the next few days, but I will get more posted as we have time. In the meantime, thanks to all of you who have left well wishes on this blog, we love reading your comments!
The engineer says 8 lbs 9.9 oz...Mom says she earned the right to round up.
