Turkey Day: A Thanksgiving Tale

We spent this Thanksgiving down at Waha so our little turkey could have some quality time with Grammy and Poppy. Of course, we ate a ton and drank a little bubbly, too. Though we have been saying that we were fattening the baby up for Thanksgiving, Anna was please we opted for the more traditional turkey route instead.


There were other forms of entertainment, as well...

Poppy put up pretty lights just for her! Only problem being, the little turkey hadn't had much of a nap that day, so as soon as we put her in her cozy bear suit, she was out like a light (har har). Guess she'll get more out of the lights next year. ;o)


Anna got to meet her Great Uncle George, who was pretty tickled to finally meet his baby girl's baby girl.


And she got to play with Grammy and Poppy, and noticed the fish tank for the first time...what's this wet stuff?


For the adults, we got some time in with the Wii...Dad and Tim will go pro soon. Pro Bowlers...Pro Golfers...Pro Baseball...Pro Tennis...such talent. Penny and Dakota are their caddies.


A great holiday! Alas, just like everything, soon it was over and time to go home.
