Two Months

Anna turned two months old this week! Unbelievably, even though she turned TWO months old, I just put her in her first SIX month sized sleeper...it feels like she's already growing up too fast. Most of the reason for the major upgrade in clothing is her length. At 12 pounds, she's not exactly a lightweight, but it's the 24.someodd inches that will get you every time.

She has been cooing a lot more lately and it starting to get the hang of tummy time, but she much prefers to show off her prowess by standing up and doing squats (while supported by Mom or Dad up top). She's doing really well with holding her head and trunk up, and most days will find her bright eyed and bushy tailed, watching the world go by--especially if we happen to have company, she seems to be something of a social butterfly.

Counting our blessings, she is also a very happy baby and usually only fusses when she's hungry, or when a diaper has gone too long without attention. She'll have her two month doctor's appointment next week so we'll have more official stats then, but we are enjoying watching her begin to interact with the world, reach for Mom and Dad and grasp more and more objects...just as long as she doesn't grow up too fast.
