Since the weather got colder, all of the mice in our neighborhood seem to have decided to move into our attic. They tend to make a nuisance of themselves up there, and wake me up in the middle of the night with their scurry, scurry, scurry. Needless to say, they have to die. Many traps have been set, and many mice have been caught...all with peanut butter. Anna (who only sees the peanut butter go up, not the little tiny body bags coming down) made the following comment tonight when she saw Daddy get the peanut butter out:
Anna: "Is that peanut butter?"
Daddy: "Yep. For the mouse."
Anna: "Oh, good idea. The mouse might be hungry, he needs some peanut butter."
Yep, for sure. Maybe the problem this whole time is that we've been feeding them too much peanut butter.
