We did a little last minute Easter shopping on Saturday in Lewiston, then hurried home to watch the NCAA final four games while we dyed Easter eggs. This turned out to be a bit of a mistake, as Anna seemed inspired to "slam dunk" the eggs into the dye cups...miraculously, they all made it to the next day...only to be slam dunked into her Easter basket. Too bad for the game of basketball that she's petite (read that "short")...the kid's got a wicked arm on her.

I, for one, was very happy to eat it after spending the night before trying to throw up my toes (Tim was less than amused at 1 AM when I commented how appropriate it was that my dinner was "risen again" on Easter Day :P). Not sure what made me sick, but at this point we're blaming a rather old and questionable gum ball I decided to chew (and swallow, because I always swallow my gum) which didn't agree with whatever else it met in my stomach. Don't ask me why I ate it. Believe me, I asked myself that at least a few hundred times that night and never got a satisfactory answer.
All gum balls aside, we had a great time and came back home with lots fun memories and the remaining (amazingly resilient) Easter eggs that made it through the final four. We look forward to finishing them off for the championship. ;o)

Love love love the picture of Grammy and Anna walking hand in hand! And, of course, the "ooOOOOooh!!" ;o)
Short kids can play hoops! Anna could always be a point guard... :)
What a fun weekend we had. Sure glad that Rabbit came on Sunday instead of Monday, we got 2 inches of the white stuff. Of course I am sure he would have still left eggs as he has done in the past. You have to be one tough bunny to have delivered all those eggs to Waha over the last 28 years because you never know what the weather is going to do.
And Anna, don't worry about being petite, you will never have problems finding pants that are long enough!!
Love,
Grammy Nana
Gosh, your darling is so bundled up, you'd think it was cold outside ;) It was 82 F in AZ for the Easter weekend.
Yeah, yeah, rub it in John! ;o) You guys will have to come up and visit us next winter and remember what snow/snowboarding feels like...of course, we'll be down shortly after that to remember what the sun looks like!
