Bluebird Day

Here in North Idaho, mother nature seems to have temporarily taken a sabbatical and forgotten that it's actually winter. We've had amazingly sunny and gorgeous weather this weekend (clear blue skies, temperatures in the high 40s/low 50s...believe me, that's a heat spell this time of year) and no snow on the ground!

Meyer and Co. got out to take advantage of the (unfortunately, most likely) temporary reprieve and went down to play at Sherman Park, by Lake CDA, yesterday.


We couldn't believe it when we woke up again today with more sun! So we got out the bikes!!!! and biked down to Hayden Lake and, I kid you not, played on the beach. Given, we played on the beach in our winter snugglies, but it still counts.



I could get used to this...but I won't. I know Mother Nature will return from vacation soon, and make up for her temporary lapse in judgment. In the meantime, we're soaking up all the Vitamin D we can get.
