10 Months

Happy 10 Month Birthday, Anna Olivia!

Mommy was a little off her game with the flu during your 9 month, so we're settling for a 10 month post and stats.

Weight: 18lbs, 11 oz
Length/Height: 27 1/2 in

Your percentages are pretty much consistent with your 6 month check-up as well, which I'm told is the key (consistency in growth, rather than how large the percentage is).

A few new things since your last birthday post:

--You now have 5 teeth with two more peaking out right now! Unfortunately, you've also decided that using them to bite mommy is fun, so we're working on that.

--You eat 3 solid meals a day, plus your milk. You're not a picky eater and love trying new foods! Your favorite foods are anything you can eat with your fingers (especially Cheerios), and you love little pieces of meat and watermelon.

--You can crawl (boy can you ever!). You now follow Dad and I around the house as we move from room to room and every once in a while you have a 'crawling contest' with Dad and chase him. You love the dog toys, but you hate crawling in grass. You're working on standing right now.

--You have such a charming little personality...with a little bit of a mischievous streak. You love to giggle at the dogs (and Mom and Dad when they're being silly), and you're a happy little baby as long as your tummy isn't rumbly and you've had your naps.

--Your favorite toy is the play cell phone that Grammy and Poppy bought you. You "call" them several times a day on it.

--You may be a little engineer in the making. Everything you do you have to study first--you watch and watch and calculate and then do it juuuuuust right.

--You love to give hugs and kisses and your favorite word is "up" though you also sometimes say "mamamama", "uh oh", and "I love you"...or at least that's what it sounds like. ;o) You also like singing along with Mom, especially to "Ba Ba Ba, Ba Babara Anna".

My favorite part of the day is going in to see you when you wake up in the morning, and you're sitting up in your crib with the biggest smile on your face--you're always happy to see Daddy and me, and the feeling is mutual! We love you!
