Six Months!

Anna Olivia is six months old (plus a few days, because Mom's had blogitis)! She celebrated her six month birthday down in Waha at Grammy and Poppy's over Valentine's Day weekend.

Being the awesome parents that we are, what did we do? We took her golfing, of course.

Amazingly, she spent most of the time sleeping (riding in style in an enclosed and heated golf car) and if it weren't for a broken down cart that had us getting out and pushing on hole 17, we would have nearly gotten 18 holes in! Ah, Lewiston. It's nice to be able to snowboard up here one weekend and drive down there and golf the next.

Grammy was better at the half birthday gift giving than Mom and Dad, and got her this super cute hat and mittens...

Her cousin, Lily, was also kind enough to bring her bouncer to Anna, who took to a liking to it immediately. Almost too much of one. I can see the conversation with our pediatrician now..."honestly, we *never* shake our baby--she did it herself!"

On Tuesday, she had her well-child check and came home with the following stats:

Weight: 16lbs, 10oz (60%)
Height: 25.25" (25%)
Head: 42 1/2 cm (50%)

Which is pretty much consistent with her last few check-ups. Even better, her head circumference has now reached the point that even if it her soft spot "closed" today, we'd still be in safe range--yay for brain space!

Mom and Dad are still in shock that it's actually been 6 months since she rocked our little family world. What did we ever do before Anna? Seriously, we must have been lazy and bored, all the time. Or possibly just well rested and sane, but either way, she's worth it.
