Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

This week was Grandpa Meyer's birthday, so we celebrated with a yummy homemade dinner and a mud pie (courtesy of Baskin Robbins). Grandpa says we're not allowed to make 'old guy' jokes until next year, when he's old enough to eat off the senior's menu at IHOP, so we will refrain to a simple Happy Birthday! and some pictures.


As you can see, it was also a busy night for Lily, too! First, she had to teach grandpa how to drive (we hear that gets harder as you get older), then she had to teach Anna how to read! Not sure how well Anna listened, I think she was mostly interested in the pen.




You can probably tell that we also quite enjoyed the mud pie. Can't wait till next year--imagine what we can get into at IHOP!
